The finals of the Scholarship took place on Tuesday 17^th August 2011 at The Unicorn Trust

We would like to thank all the Judges and helpers for giving up their time on this day, and the semi finals held at Ashfields and Red House Stables.

The Brian Sims BDS Junior Scholarship Awards will be presented to the winners at Driving Addington on Saturday evening, 1^st  October.

Each winner in their age group to receive driving tuition at a BDS approved yard of their choice.

Details of the BDS 2012 Brian Sims Junior Scholarship will be found in the May Issue 2012 of the BDS Newsletter or contact the BDS Office after this date and we hope that many of the Juniors eligible will come and have a try for the Scholarship, if you have any queries, please contact the BDS Office.

*This is the second year of the Brian Sims sponsorship of the Junior Drivers Scholarship, in  memory of Mr Brian Sims a keen member and supporter of the Dorset BDS, who’s love of education and the traditional ways of driving makes it a fitting memorial.

**The Simon Baker Memorial Trophy was presented in memory of Simon Baker, the Founder and CEO of Voice Products and who sponsored the scholarship for many years.  A perpetual trophy, it is awarded to the candidate with the highest marks.

• Kelvin kbb Ltd. is the kitchen/bedroom/bathroom company committed to quality, from innovative design, through manufacture, delivery and installation, to after sales service.  A trade only company based in Cumbernauld, Glasgow.

• The Scholarship took place on Tuesday 12^th August at Swingletree, home of BDS Chairman John Parker.
   

• Judges were: Susan Townsend, Barrie Luck, Linda Tate, Richard Lanni (Group Managing Director, Kelvin kbb Ltd. & Vice Chairman, BDS) and Sarah Hallsworth (Redwings Horse Sanctuary) 
   

•  The Kelvin BDS Junior Scholarship Award Certificates will be presented to the three winners at Driving Towerlands on Saturday evening, 4^th October.
   

• Each winner receives driving tuition at a BDS approved yard of their choice.

 ¨      The Voice Products BDS Junior Scholarship Award Certificates were presented to the three winners at the Horse of the Year Show on Thursday afternoon, 4^th October 2007.

 ¨      Each winner receives driving tuition at a BDS approved yard of their choice.
