the 2001 Scholarship awards.

In 2000, Scholarship winners were lain Hood and
Kirsty Litchfield who have both opted to take up their
prize of a week's tuition at Jane MacInnes' yard at Home
Farm near Aberdeen. In addition, Voice Products awarded
another scholarship to 17 year old Fiona Paxton, as
the most successful candidate not from a professional
driving yard. At the request of Voice Products this third
category is now set to be an annual feature of the
scholarship.
The scholarship presentation took place at the Horse of
the Year Show. To cheers from the audience, the three
winners were brought into the arena by June Hommers and her
prize winning Welsh Section A ponies Penhasset Starturn &
Brilliant Posh Paws, driven to a 1901 Malvern Dog Cart.
There they received their awards from Simon Baker, Chairman
of Voice Products Group plc.
