DARTMOOR CHALLENGE Friends of the Dartmoor Hill Pony are organizing a two day sponsored ride, carriage drive and guided walk and a unique Shire horse wagon ride to see Dartmoor. The base is a peaceful and beautiful hill farm, nr Poundsgate, where you can camp, stay in the farmhouse, bring a caravan or stay in your horse box with turnout facilities and some stabling available on the farm and locally. Each day will see local experts leading rides/drives of about 25 miles taking in everything from tors to pubs. Each evening you return to the farm where there will be entertainment, campfire singsong and BBQ.
