Change of address and phone number for BDS Head Office
Following the retirement of BDS Executive Secretary Jenny Dillon at the Society's AGM on Saturday, April 16th, the BDS Office Headquarters address has officially changed to:
83 New Road, Helmingham, Stowmarket, Suffolk, IP14 6EA
This is the address of our new Secretary Mrs Tess Styles and I am sure you will join us in welcoming her to the Society.
But what an act to follow! Jenny has served the Society as Secretary, Advisor, Publicity Agent and Confidant for the last 21 years in an unstinting manner and the membership will remember her with great fondness as she settles into retirement. It's fair to say that we've continued to keep her very busy right up to her retirement date with all the preparation work for the AGM, Judges and Area Commissioners conferences and not to mention the Dinner Dance arrangements. After all we didn't want her to get too sentimental and emotional about things - rather she will be looking forward to a well earned rest!
On behalf of the membership Jenny, a big hug and a thank you for all your work. Inevitably you have become a focal point for the Society with your charm and efficiency over the many years and at last you will have the time to seek out those Adventure Holidays you love so much.
