BDS Annual General Meeting
and
Dinner Dance

The AGM and annual BDS Dinner Dance is being held on 22nd April at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Leicestershire. This is a great chance to meet friends and exchange ideas.

AGM
10 am until lunch time Area Commissioners' meeting
Approx. 1.30 pm Child Protection Course for all interested members.
This is a free, Certificated course and has been put on due to popular demand. Names have to be supplied to the Secretary as places are limited and needed for the Certificate.
Approx. 4 pm Annual General Meeting

Dinner Dance
Pre-dinner drinks from 7p.m. in the Rotunda,
Dine at 8 p.m. in the London Suite
followed by Dancing to a live band
Young Guns
until midnight.

Hinckley Island Hotel - Location:

Extremely easy to get to, Hinckley Island is perfectly located on junction 1 of the M69, just five minutes from junction 2 of the M6 and junction 21 of the M1. Right in the heart of the Midlands, it is within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre, under 10 miles from the NEC and Birmingham Airport and only 15 minutes from the centre of Coventry and Leicester.

From the North & East:
Take junction 21 of the M1 onto the M69. You'll stay on the M69 almost to the end and then take junction 1 signposted Hinckley. Turn left at the top of the slip road onto the A5 and you'll find the hotel 300 metres on the left.

From the South:
Take junction 20 of the M1 at Lutterworth and follow signs for the A5 via the A4303. Turn right onto the A5 through Ullesthorpe and you'll find the hotel on the right just before you reach the M69 and Hinckley town centre.

From the West:
Take junction 2 of the M6 and follow signs to the M69 north. Then, take the first junction off the M69 signposted Hinckley. Turn right at the top of the slip road onto the A5 and you'll find the hotel 300 metres on the left.

By rail:
Hinckley Island is situated 1 mile from Hinckley local train station which connects to major routes in Coventry and Rugby. Coventry train station is 12 miles from the hotel.

By air:
Birmingham International Airport is 20 minutes from Hinckley Island. Domestic, European and International flights arrive daily into Birmingham.

Parking is available for up to 600 cars
