A fun & learning day about all types of driving for everyone from novice to advanced. Features include BDS-Trec, Private driving vehicles, Light Trade, putting-to singles and pairs, Long Distance Driving, Hackney Horses, Musical drive ideas , Funbug fun etc etc. Trade stands too !

Proposed Timetable – (subject to change)

• 10am- `Lets get started ` .Gary Docking LHHI will talk about the rights & wrongs of putting-to a single horse to a two wheel and also a four wheel exercise vehicle.
• 10.30am – The new one ! BDS Trec explained for organisers and entrants, as well as some `skills` demonstrated , with Linda Swain & David Faulkner..
• 10.50 am – So you want to organise a Musical Drive?
• 11.30am – The Hackney Horse Society Display
• 12 noon – What, Why, How & When? Leading showman Gary Docking will attempt to give the ultimate explanation about Private Driving, Light Trade and Exercise vehicle turnouts aided by some of the best. Come armed with your questions!
• 1pm – Long Distance Driving unravelled.
• 1.20pm – International driver Karen Bassett shows how to put a pair of horses together and explains about basic harness and vehicle needs.
• 1.50pm – Funbug Fun with Amanda Saville
• 2.15pm – The Hackney Horse Society Display
• 2.45pm - Midland Driving Trials Group Demonstration
• 3.15pm – Event ends. Have a safe journey home.

REMEMBER THE OUTER BENNINGTON ARENA – a chance for newcomers to actually have a first go at driving, with carriages, harness and accessories to buy.
