BDS Scotland The show is to celebrate the 50th Birthday of the British Driving Society and as such is very much a party weekend. Members and driving friends are invited to come to Strathallan for the weekend, join in the driving or help us run the show, join in the party or just enjoy the company of driving friends. (Please let Ann know if you would like to help e.g. steward, course build.) There will be a marquee and toilets. There will not be a bar or any other catering, so please come ready to provide for yourselves and your ‘party’. There will be a Ceilidh Band for dancing. Each BDS Area will also be providing some sort of short Entertainment. The showfield is used for horse trials and shows so the ‘facilities’ including water are all in place. The Saturday Night is the Picnic Party. How you organise your party is up to you but we do not want people sitting eating their ‘tea’ alone in their horsebox or caravan. If you are on your own, just bring your picnic and join in. We want everyone to be involved so bring along all your friends who help you with your driving. You will also need to bring along your own booze, some lighting, midge spray and anything else you want. And if it rains …………………..? Let’s make the weekend one to remember.
