About BDS Scotland
The Scottish Branch is part of the National Society. It promotes driving in Scotland by organising shows, drives and training sessions and assists newcomers to the sport.
With Scotland divided into Seven areas, each Area Commissioner will assist drivers and event organisers and is the first point of contact for anyone requiring information about driving.

BDS Scottish Show 2012
SATURDAY 28TH JULY 2012
SPRINGWOOD PARK KELSO
This year’s show will again be held as part of the Kelso Agricultural show and the driving will be on Saturday 28th. It will again be a qualifier for the Osborne Refrigerator National Championships in a whole range of categories and also A Horse of the Year Show qualifier.
Asking for support in the form of class and championship sponsorship worked very well last year and since the economic climate is still difficult it is intended to do the same again this year so if anyone would like to sponsor a class it will be £25. £50 for Singles Championship and £100 for the Show Supreme championship. (Contact details are below)
Unfortunately this year St Fort driving event has set their event on that same weekend which will cause some heartache for those who participate in show driving and club events. The Scottish Show date is tied to the Kelso Show so we are never going to have a choice of when we hold our show, and as a driver who does show and club events I understand how frustrating this is. However since there are quite a few other club events available in Scotland I would ask our members to support the Scottish Show as they have done in the past.

Due to lack of support for the driving classes at Central and West Fife show there will be no driving classes at this years show

Glamis Castle
Drive & Picnic
Drive out in the morning along a variety of marked routes through the lovely Glamis estate.
Please bring a Picnic & everyone eats together at the tables provided which makes for a good get-together.
In the afternoon there are Cones which this year we would like to have a 'Regal flavour' to them. Just a bit of imagination required!?
