Kinross Show Report - 9th August 2008

We are either mad or incredibly dedicated to our sport I shall go for the latter, today was WET not just a little bit, not a spit or spat but full blown torrential rain, I think all competitors deserve an award for coming out to compete today as the weather was horrendous more of a day for putting your feet up and watching a good movie but us hardcore competitors like to throw caution to the wind and go for it… and you know what we had a great event!

There was a drop in entries this year but the three enthusiastic competitors that showed were all of incredibly high standards.

Joan Martin was our judge today and she found her winner and champion in last years winner Ronald Forgan driving his Welsh section D Boleyn Clarence, Ron also won a lovely rug that was kindly donated by The Tack Room, Tillyochie, Kim Pearson-Miller driving JD’s El Diablo was reserve and also winner of the smartest vehicle and received a special prize kindly donated by Stewart & Smart, Milnathort.

Hopefully we will the see the same if not more competitors at next years show and fingers crossed we can perhaps break the tradition of a wet Kinross show!
