Perth Show Report - 2nd August 2008 |
After the horrendous down pour of rain on Friday it looked like Perth show might be a washout, thankfully on the show day it was fine and dry. We had a good number of entrants at this years show and as always it was great to see the driving class being supported, it was great to see a new face in the ring junior whip Victoria Gregory driving her lovely Shetland Master Yoghurt this is Victoria’s second driving event and she did very well. The winner of the class and overall champion was Ann Rushton-Green driving Mickey, Ann was last years overall winner also. Congratulation Ann and Mickey! Reserve went to Kim Pearson-Miller driving JD’s El Diablo. After last years downbeat atmosphere at the show it was great to see it back to full force there was a good number of spectators and all classes were well supported across the board. A big thank you has to go to the Perth show committee for organising such a wonderful event and to our judge on the day Alastair McNinch, also to the driving competitors without you we wouldn’t have classes to compete at so keep up the good work and support your local shows.
