The Show also supports the Sanders Watney Trust, the registered charity set up by the British Driving Society to help disabled people drive horses and ponies. Throughout the day, competition takes place in four arenas. Over 350 horses and carriage turnouts compete in private driving competitions for all levels of driving enthusiast, from the single novice to coachmen with their magnificent teams of four horses. 40 classes and 8 Championships include qualifiers for the Horse of the Year Show and the Hackney Horse of the Year. Young carriage drivers have their own classes, culminating in the in the Voice Products Young carriage driver Championship. Other classes include the Sealmaster World & Rare Breeds, R. Bass & Co. Hackneys, the Light Trade Championship and the Truckbusters Concours d'Elegance. There are even classes for donkeys and mules.
A friendly, relaxed atmosphere combined with beautiful horses, ponies and carriages, trade stands, a members' marquee serving luncheon and other catering outlets all come together at Smiths Lawn to provide an unforgettable day for the driving enthusiast. The Show is located opposite Smith's Lawn in Windsor Great Park (A329, enter through Blacknest Gate & follow signs for Guards Polo Club)
