The event is run alongside the National Horse Eventing Trials, this taking place over the third Saturday and Sunday in August. The BDS event is run on the Sunday only.
Thirlestane Castle is set amidst wide open parkland with the Leader Water running through the grounds. This Castle has a long and interesting history and is an ideal setting for such a major Driving Event.
