| Harness stolen from RDA Group On Wednesday 6th October at 10.30pm thieves broke into the Stella Hancock Driving Groups RDA's harness room at Merrist Wood Campus, Guildford, Surrey. Although the building was fully alarmed, the thieves had been in and out in a quick pre-planned raid, involving at least two vehicles and at least four people, according to the police who arrived extremely quickly with sniffer dogs. They have taken four complete sets of black Duraweb and Firefly Tedman harness to fit 11.1 hh 12.2 hh, 13.00 hh and 13.2 hh. Also sets of ordinary webbing reins, leather reins and special reins with loops etc for disabled drivers. Two Fleck whips. One set of harness has double terrets on the pad to separate both sets of reins that are very distinctive. The also stole one set of English working harness in black leather and several spare leather traces of various lengths, along with three under bridle head collars. No doubt the harness is long gone, but if anyone suspects or hears anything suspicious please ring the Surrey Police on 0845 1252222 |
