Ifor Williams horse trailer

Stolen from Chorley, Lancashire on 30 December 2006 - Ifor Williams HB510 double horse trailer. Front & rear ramps, silver/red, serial number 269705. Will probably need new set of keys for towing bracket as it was locked when taken.  Please contact Chorley Police on 01257 269021 quoting crime incident ref: CA0604745

Bennington XL

Julie Camm's nearly new Bennington XL was stolen at lunchtime on Tuesday 22 August 2006 from Robert Buck's Yard at Shipton Oliffe, Nr Cheltenham.

It is Silver, with blue on the wheels. Fits approx. 14 hh.

This was a brazen theft, in broad daylight - the carriage was parked in the drive ready for loading, and there were people around. It is believed to have been loaded into a Blue Van.

Bennington 4-wheeler

A Bennington 4 Wheel carriage was stolen from Mrs D. Veaney Hiner of Maldon Essex between 7.15 and 6am on Wednesday 5th July. The carriage was black with independent shafts, wood cladding around drivers seat. Rear extending axles, disc brakes, single marathon seat and rear back step. To fit 13 -14hh pony. Chassis No 7318. Lynton Trailer Low Loader brought at Reading Carriage Sale in March 2006 - 14ft body 20ft overall length, tandem axle, blue tilt with window in front.

Pairs/Single 4 wheel Marathon carriage made by Kelders Carriage Services. Varnished wood panels to front and sides. Dark Blue with red lining. Single or Pairs. Shafts and Pole taken. Hard rubber wheels.

Harnesses: All cob size and full size

Friesian Pairs Show Harness made to fit cob size in brown leather with white metal and white metal horse motives. Only this one ever made in brown. Made by Ideal Equestrian.

Ideal Equestrian heavy duty pairs marathon harness (in pictures) black leather.

Tandems Harness - Wheelers pad and bridle made in patent leather, leaders breast collar and traces in webbing.

Pairs Marathon wheelers harness George Bowman Zilco. All accessories to convert to single and tandems including tugs and leader breast collar and traces.

Brand New Zilco Classic Single Harness with Empathy collar and original breast collar.

Single made up harness with light weight brollar (unusual as one of the first bought out - shown in picture).

Many sets of reins single and pairs. One set at least 25ft long.

3 Carriages

Stolen on the night of 30th / morning of 31st March from locked building near Penrith:

  • Black pony pairs carriage with yellow wheels
  • Green / stainless pony single vehicle with white wheel centres
  • Lightweight Shetland pony size 2 wheeler.

Harness
Joanna Beazley-Richards had her tack/harness room broken into at lunchtime on 16 February and much of her harness stolen. They took a cob size Zilco pair harness, another pair set, a John Macdonald single set, cob size, some old patent singles, and all her bridles and reins. They left the Stubben saddles, so they were obviously stealing to order, or were disturbed. If anyone is offered these, please contact Joanna on joanna@wealdeninstitute.co.uk
Bennington Buccaneer
A Bennington Buccaneer Competitor (2 wheeler) was stolen from Chiswell Green Stables, St. Albans on 27 January 2006. The carriage has a detachable backstep, black metalwork, 37inch diameter wheels.
