We can offer individual BDS Areas a simple website, consisting of a maximum of 4 pages (e.g. a home page, contacts page, calendar page and a news page) using the web address www.areaname.britishdrivingsociety.co.uk (where areaname is the name of your BDS area).

You will need to send us the relevant information and we will create your pages for you. They will be indexed and linked from the main BDS website.

We will update your pages when you send us new material, up to four times per year. A sample website of this type can be seen at www.britishdrivingsociety.co.uk/areasite

If you would like to design and maintain your site yourself, we can offer you a package using the web address www.areaname.britishdrivingsociety.co.uk (as above).

This package includes 5 Mbytes of web space, which you can use to store your own pages and which you can access with your own unique password.

You will need someone with basic knowledge of web design and publishing to maintain your site. You can make changes and do updates as often as you wish and the space is sufficient for 50+ web pages.

This website will also be indexed and linked from the main BDS site.
