For the year ahead, all BDS Members are welcome to join our challenge to cover 100, 200 or 300 + miles during their drives from home, yard or at a BDS organised drive.  All participants will receive a Bronze, Silver or Gold Rosette depending on the miles logged and once completed, each name will be entered into a prize draw.

There will also be an award for the most miles covered and we welcome your photos and updates throughout the season to feature on our website and social media pages.  There will be a final photo competition for all entrants in October for another great prize kindly sponsored by ‘Carriagelink’.  This challenge is free to enter but you must register to take part and be a current BDS member.  Once registered, you will receive your loggin sheets to keep a record of your mileage when you drive out either at home or on an organised drive.  There are lots of free apps to use to keep track of your progress.

The challenge starts on 1st March and runs to 31st October 2021.  All mileage totalled by then will qualify the entrant to a rosette and a chance to win £100 in our prize draw.  There will be a special prize for the most miles covered and all entrants will have the chance to feature in a final photo competition to win a £50 voucher kindly donated by ‘Take The Reins’.

Due to the pandemic, our AGM will be held virtually via the Zoom app on Saturday 12th December 2020 at 2pm.

Many other societies have run successful virtual meetings in this extraordinary climate and reported positively.

If you would like to attend, please email the office by Wednesday 9th December for your invitation link.

We will need to know who is attending so if you are joint members please include both attendee names.

If you haven’t received an invite by Thursday 10th December, please make contact with the office by the 11th December.

Due to time constraints, we will be requesting that any questions be submitted in advance of the meeting to the office by 9th December. We will endeavour to answer them during the AGM but if unable to, will respond during the following week.

Instructions on how to use Zoom will be sent with your invite for those members who are new to video conferencing.
