Hampshire – Introduction to Carriage Driving

Introduction to Carriage Driving Day – to arrive from 9.30am for a 10.00am start and finish at approximately 2.30pm-3.00pm. Come and learn about different harnesses, correct way of harnessing up, correct fit, different vehicles, putting to the carriage, different bits, rein handling, the role of the groom and why we have one and everyone has a go at driving on one of our schoolmasters. We try and fit as much into one day as possible to give you an insight into carriage driving – suitable from the complete beginner to the more advanced who wants to brush up on their knowledge. Cost is £60 per person which includes lunch.
